Leadership

26 Alpha is led by people who each possess a unique combination of skills and experience. Our directors will generally lead and be directly and intimately involved with the engagement but on occasion take up a support role in a quality assurance capacity when the work involves a larger team.

Daryl TayServices Director
Daryl has worked in the roles where he has consulted on software application evaluation, ICT service transition, SaaS software application deployments, and digital transformation for government and private sector. Daryl’s ability to transcend traditional boundaries and help customers solve complex problems stems from his experience in software development, technical implementation and customer support, to managing deployments and consulting on best practice covering a range of enterprise ICT services.

Daryl is a certified MSP® Practitioner, PRINCE2® Practitioner, Professional Scrum Master™ and Professional Scrum Product Owner™. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Rui ZhangDirector, Application Quality Assurance
Rui is a Test Management Specialist and having previously worked with several large government and private organisations, is experienced in developing enterprise test strategies and plans. Her experience extends through to (but is not limited to) automated software testing, usability testing, performance testing, acceptance testing, deployment testing and advising on the development and application of scenario-based test scripting.

Rui is an ISTQB® Certified Tester and also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems.

Kevin SabarliDirector, Digital Experience
Kevin is a Web Technology guru with extensive experience in developing web applications that serve large audiences. Having run his own small web design business while he was still an undergraduate, Kevin understands the needs of businesses big and small and brings a wealth of experience to the meaning of ‘digital experience’. His knowledge in the latest web technologies, and technical capability in this area has also led to his crowning achievement to date as the person responsible for a web front-end service that caters to the needs of over 1 million users in Australia.

Kevin is a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design.
